What is the role of the Town Manager in relation to the Mayor and Council?
The Town Manager, Rick Bellis, has announced that he will not “seek” re-appointment. He does not say he will not serve if asked. If you are re-elected, will you appoint him as your Town Manager or allow him to be appointed by another Town Manager in the administration as Ass’t Town Manager, Planning Director or any other post available?

The current Town Manager has been at the center of controversial plans like the attempted rezoning of Couse Pasture and four story hotels, and his true involvement only came about after public records requests found that he was working closely with the developers behind these projects. What can we expect of you and the town manager you appoint when it comes to improving transparency and public input in the development process?
